What is a bankruptcy motion for reconsideration and how do I write one?

A motion for reconsideration asks the bankruptcy court to reinstate a bankruptcy case thathas been dismissed for one reason or another.  In your motion, you should request the bankruptcy judge to reconsider its reasons for dismissing your case, and to reverse its dismissal by reinstating your case.  Plus, if your case was dismissed due to your failure to file a document or some other technical defect, then you should also file the omitted document or take the steps needed to cure the defect.
